Play

There’s been a little hiatus since my last podcast episode. I’m back and I’ve got a really special episode today!

In episode 12 of the Business and Blogs podcast I had the opportunity to do an in-depth interview with Mr. Chris Farrell. Many people know Chris from sites like ChrisFarrell Membership, AffiliateDotCom, and Chris Mentor Me… Chris generates thousands of dollars every single day from his membership site and has actually had a seven figure day with one of his product launches.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • How Chris Farrell got in to online marketing.
  • How Chris was making $250 per day with in months of starting.
  • How and why Chris started his membership site.
  • Some sneaky tricks to keep people around in a membership site for a long time.
  • Both my and Chris’s thoughts on how to use Social Media effectively.
  • Some actionable tips to really get the most from Facebook.
  • An exact step-by-step technique to get in front of any A-Lister in your industry.
  • The details behind Chris’s 7-Figure day.
  • The big projects that Chris is working on in 2012.

You are going to love this episode! Chris unleashes so much cool stuff! I was blown away with how transparent Chris was and how much insight he was willing to give in to his business. Don’t miss this episode.

    Hi Matt

Great podcast, some really useful tips in there

Some of the tips Chris discusses are so obvious but only after you’ve heard him say them.

I really liked the fact that we can’t be effective in every social site and that we’d go crazy to try.

    Well worth a listen :)

    cheers
    Steve

    • Matt says:

Thanks Steve! It’s so true too. I used to tear my hair out trying to figure out what to post where. I’ve been a much happier person deciding to put my focus in to Facebook. I still use Twitter but it’s secondary.

      Thanks for commenting!

        Matt

Business and Blogs has encouraged myself and my friend Scott to start a blog and we are in the process of getting it all organised. If you have the time we have a question, Who drew/did your caricature for the B&B logo? We’d like to commission something similar as we think it would be more fun than an actual photograph of the pair of us.

        Cheers,
        Russell.

PS> Keep up the podcasts, you’re an inspiration.

    Great podcast, thank you Matt.
I attended 2 seminars where Chris Farrell was a speaker. He provides tons of valuable, hands-on information. There is so much to learn from Chris and it’s an honor to listen to his webinars & podcasts.

    • Matt says:

Chris is a great guy and I really have a good time chatting with him. I’m glad you enjoyed the podcast. Thanks so much for taking the time to come back and leave a comment!

    Hi Matt,

I tried to listen to the podcast, but I got a file not found message.

  5. Bob says:

    Hey Matt!

Great podcast again! I really appreciated Chris’s take on all things marketing. I especially liked the idea about doing a personalized video and sending an email to just about anyone (even someone I consider untouchable).

I was wondering, since you are planning on taking it slower on the podcasts, if you would consider letting someone be a stand-in and host an episode for you? It could give a newbie a shot at some air time and would be the ultimate collaboration with a fan.

No matter what, keep up the good work!

    • Matt says:

The personalized video idea is excellent! I’ve only seen one other person do that for me in the past and it definitely caught my attention.

I’m not quite sure how well a stand-in host would do but I’d definitely be interested in giving some air time to someone who has questions for me. I could do an episode where I bring in a couple people who are new to the game and just do my best to answer as many questions as possible for them… Something like that would be really fun!

  6. Ryan K says:

    Chris is great!

Such a pleasant chap! I remember running across Chris’ site a few years ago and going through those free videos…

    Too funny!

    We need more Farrells online!

    Good Things!!!

  7. Jules says:

Great interview, love the tip about making a video to introduce yourself!

  8. Pauline says:

Thanks for sharing this Matt I enjoyed it, I have learnt so much from Chris (and I am still learning!) he is a great guy. I have been a little reluctant to make a video until now but I am thinking I may give it a go as I like his idea of making one to introduce yourself.

    Pauline

    • Matt says:

Thanks for commenting Pauline! Making videos is a little nerve raking the first couple times but it does get really easy after the first couple times. I’d definitely recommend doing it. Creating videos can open a lot of doors!

  9. Tony says:

    Hi Matt

More great information for us beginners.

Chris seems like a really knowledgeable guy, thanks for introducing him to us. I’m heading over to his site right now

Its a shame that you are cutting back on your podcast schedule because I look forward to it every week, but I understand your a busy guy so I’ll just have to be patient.

    Thanks again

    Tony

    • Matt says:

      Thanks Tony. Enjoy Chris’s site.

I’d prefer not to cut back on my podcast schedule. Unfortunately, the truth is that I don’t want to make episodes just for the sake of making episodes. I want to make episodes when I have something really cool to share with you.

If I focus on making an episode per week, there will probably be occasional episodes that aren’t the best quality that I could put out… I want to make sure I’m always providing the best possible stuff that I can.

      • Quin says:

        Hey Matt –

I’d like to get you on the show. If you’re interested hit me up at host “at” artofpodcasting.com

        Really like the show.

  10. RJ Darden says:

I’m a new listener… just listened to your entire collection the past couple of days…. I like your style. I found you as a recommended podcast on iTunes You know… “those who listened to Smart Passive Income, also listened to this (Business and Blogs)”.

    I hate that you’re slowing down… but I understand.

But here is my question… What is your opinion, take, suggestion, or tips on curing procrastination. Also what is your opinion, take, suggestion, or tips on time management?

I’d really like to here your “voice” on these matters.

  11. Hilda says:

OMG!! I’ve been a member of CFM for over a year now! Everything I’ve learned about IM I owe to Chris Farrell!

    He’s just totally AWESOME!!!

Matt, I’m so glad you’re a fan of Chris!
